JV3 LEAGUE RANKING
There are a few rules and scoring considerations that are unique to the JV3 division of the MOHSRA League.
1. All JV3 League games consist of either 1 Singles game to 15 points or 1 Doubles game to 11 points.
2. Timeouts are not used except during the Winter Rollout or the State Tournament.
3. The boys and girls are ranked in a ladder format. Total points earned each week in your first 3 games contribute to an individual's ranking. The player with the highest total points earned over the season is ranked #1. During Doubles Weeks, each player on the doubles team is given the points that his/her doubles team earned towards their ranking points.
4. The JV3 State Tournament will consist of 6 Singles Divisions. Based on an indivudal's final ranking after 9 weeks of JV3 play, a team will rank order their players. Only individuals who competed in at least 5 weeks of the JV3 league are eligible to participate. The #1 player for each school will compete in Division #1, #2 in Division #2, and so on. If a team only has 3 players, they would only have players entered into Divisions 1-3. If a team has more than 6 players, the balance of the roster would compete in Division #6. Division #6 will be the largest division. Team scoring for the JV3 State Tournament will be determined based on the following...
