EVENT DESCRIPTION
The Ladder League MOHSRA League State Championships take place on Saturday, February 14th. The Boys ’ MOHSRA League State Championships take place on Saturday, February 21st. The Girls ’ MOHSRA League State Championships take place on Sunday, February 22nd. The cost to play in the tournament is built into the league fees. You must enter to play. All team entries need to be submitted by coaches online and received by 6pm on Wednesday, February 11th. Match starting times will be available no later than 6pm on Thursday, February 19th. They will be listed on www.mohsra.org, available by calling Vetta Sports – Concord after 6pm on Thursday, February 19th, and will be emailed to all coaches.
There are 4 team categories in the Boys’ event; Varsity, JV1, JV2, and JV3. There are 3 team categories in the Girls’ event; Varsity, JV1, and JV2. Within each category are divisions for each spot on each team. Individual trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd are awarded to athletes in every division.
Team trophies are given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places within each category. Points are obtained based on wins in the following rounds in all divisions within each category. Hence, the player that wins the final collects 105 points for their team. Every player in every division contributes to the team total.
There are two ways to look at the point distribution; round by round earnings or final earnings...
Win in the Round of 32 5 points
Win in the Round of 16 10 points
Win in the Quarterfinals 15 points
Win in the Semifinals 25 points
Win in 3rd Place Match 10 points
Win in the Finals 50 points
OR...
1st Place 105 points
2nd Place 55 points
3rd Place 40 points
Semifinalist 30 points
Quarterfinalist 15 points
Round of 16 5 points
