EVENT DESCRIPTION
The Winter Rollout Tournament takes place every year in early December. Seven Divisions are offered for Boys Singles and Four Divisions are offered for Girls Singles. Players will be grouped into division brackets as follows…
Boys Division 1 - Varsity Seeds 1-4
Boys Division 2 - Varsity Seeds 5, 6, & Varsity Doubles Team Players
Boys Division 3 - JV1 Team Players
Boys Division 4 - JV2 Team Players
Boys Division 5 - JV3 Team Players
Boys Division 6 - Experienced Ladder League Players
Boys Division 7 - First Year Ladder League Players
Girls Division 1 - Varsity Seeds 1-3
Girls Division 2 - Varsity Seed 4 & Varsity Doubles Team Players
Girls Division 3 - JV1 Team Players
Girls Division 4 - JV2 Team Players
The design is the same for all divisions. A straight draw with NO consolation division will be offered. Players are guaranteed 1 match. The event will take place on Friday after school and run into the late evening. It will resume early Saturday morning and run late on Saturday evening. Teams will need to provide their own hospitality. The entry fee is built into the cost of the League.
Entries must be submitted by coaches online and received by 6pm on Monday, December 1st. You must be entered to play.
Match starting times will be available no later than 6pm on Thursday, December 4th. They will be listed on www.mohsra.org, available by calling Vetta Sports – Concord after 6pm on Thursday, November 4th, and will be emailed to all coaches.
First & Second Place Individual Medals are awarded in every division. First, Second, and Third Place Team Trophies are awarded to each team finishing in the Top 3 overall across all divisions. Points are obtained based on wins in the following rounds in all divisions. Hence, the player that wins the final collects 105 points for their team. Every player in every division contributes to the team total.
There are two ways to look at the point distribution; round by round earnings or final earnings...
Win in the Round of 32 5 points
Win in the Round of 16 10 points
Win in the Quarterfinals 15 points
Win in the Semifinals 25 points
Win in the Finals 50 points
OR...
1st Place 105 points
2nd Place 55 points
Semifinalist 30 points
Quarterfinalist 15 points
Round of 16 5 points
